Today I filed a claim for the new headlamp. Because it’s $200+ and there’s a chip in the paint. And it looks like you have to take out the grille to remove the lamp.
Yay.
Also the headlight is burned out now because I had to drive in the rain Saturday.

How much is your deductible? I put my car into my garage wall and a head light alone was ~400 more than my deductible, let alone the work the car and the garage needed. I still wonder if I should have paid out of pocket because my rates went up big time.

Since it was an airborne object (flew off a truck or something) it’ll be covered under comprehensive and my deductible is $100.
